My Major
I'm currently enrolled at IUPUI as a Computer Science Major, and currently plan on pursuing that path. If the opportunity presents itself I'd also like to minor in some form of design or marketing. I chose this major because Computer Science has been a long time interest of mine, and I overall want a job I'm interested in and enjoy. I like the challenge Computer Science presents, and I also like the benefits of a Computer Science Major. It can lead to many very different types of careers that are all fairly stable and good paths, and I enjoy having my options open. In terms of a minor in design / marketing, I'd like to pursue that as although the careers are a little less stable and broad, design has been a very long time personal interest and hobby of mine, and a minor in design or marketing would be beneficial if I were to open my own business or pursue a non-computer science career.

My Career Going Forward
Overall, my number one career goal is to have a career I enjoy, but I'd also like a career that'd give me enough financial stability for me to provide for my friends and family, and a career where I can utilize creativity. With that said, my plan is to pursue a career in Computer Science, and I'm primarily considering a career in Web Design, as that still has a lot of the benefits of a Computer Science career, and it can be fairly financially stable, while also allowing me to utilize design and a lot of creativity. These goals are meaningful to me because they represent some of the most important things to me in my life; those I care for and creativity. I love to express and create things, and those close to me are very important to me and my life, so they inspire many of my goals.
